Our History

Senyorita was founded in 1996. Initially focusing on producing potato chips and corn snacks, business grew rapidly demanding expansion of the production facilities and the diversification of products.

Biscuits and wafers were later added to the product list and by 2005 there were three production facilities that utilized 4500 employees.

WE ARE PART OF AMERICANA GROUP

In 2006 Americana acquired Senyorita. Americana Group is the leader of the FMCG field in the Middle East and North Africa. With a network of over 1,630 outlets, it is not only the largest operator of restaurant chains in the MENA region, but also one of the most successful franchise operators in the whole world.  Americana immediately began enhancing the operation and management of the Senyorita facilities. Since 2011 Americana completed a restructuring process that emphasized the excellence of the administrative structure of the company by recruiting a team of young, talented and motivated professionals with a strong drive for success and leadership.

This mixture of expertise and talents generated an exciting momentum towards achieving higher levels of success, profitability and accomplishment.
 

Outstanding Results:

Serving our community by generating employment opportunities and providing greater coverage, we recruited over 1300 new personnel expanding our human resources by over 25% to reach 5700 trained and specialized personnel.
